Mission Statement

Holmes County Art is a directory, digital showcase and art initiative for mid-Ohio artists and art enthusiasts.  The purpose is to celebrate and inform – to enhance the experiences of visitors and encourage the participation and innovation within the artistic community. A tradition of handmade crafts, cultural uniqueness and individual spirit exists in Holmes county and it is the priority of this site to nurture and support the local tradition.

This is a nonprofit endeavor. All proceeds from artist cooperative auctions or sales are split between participating artists, sponsored art events and the management of the initiative.

If you’ve never visited mid-Ohio, consider this site and open invitation. Craftsman, artists, art preservationists and patrons of the arts populate this region, and we welcome visitors to learn about our area and our inspirations.
